Ilana Gilovich

Ilana Gilovich (she/her) is a writer, speaker, creative director, and experience designer shaping narratives for theater, events, marketing, branding, and immersive design. Ilana worked as the Chief Storyteller for Emursive Productions (Sleep No More, Life And Trust, Speakeasy Magick), as well as a cast member in Sleep No More between 2012-2025. ⁠Ilana earned her BA in English at Cornell University, her MA in Literary Studies at Queen's University Belfast, and her PhD in English Literature (Theatre and Performance) at Columbia University. ⁠⁠Ilana's current writing can be found on Substack. Ilana's experience with PPTG and the Cornell Prison Education Program was life-altering; a searing reminder of the power of art, education, and collective healing.
