This Incarcerated Life: The Foundation of a Pipe Dream
This Incarcerated Life: The Foundation of a Pipe Dream was the fourth devised performance the men of PPTG have presented for an invited audience. The performance took place on May 12, 2016 and included themes of fathers and personal experiences and social issues, all framed by a day in the life of Auburn Correctional Facility. This video includes the entire ninety-minute performance followed by a question and answer period with the audience.
An Indeterminate Life
An Indeterminate Life was performed at Auburn Correctional Facility in April of 2014. It was PPTG’s third public performance and included men in the “second generation” of PPTG members. It includes pieces that reflect on the events that take place early in one’s incarceration as well as the pain and distance brought about by the separation from family.

Maximum Will
Maximum Will was performed in April of 2012 and was PPTG’s second public performance. Michael wanted the group to tackle Shakespeare so a piece was structured excerpting soliloquies from Shakespeare’s plays, with original pieces written by the men that reflected on one of the Shakespeare pieces performed. The original monologues and dialogues were interwoven with the text from Shakespeare that inspired the autobiographical material
