Tyreek Williams

After serving a twenty-one-year prison sentence, Tyreek returned home in 2024. In 2014, he graduated from the Cornell Prison Education Program, earning an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. As a legal aid, Tyreek provides legal assistance to unfortunate inmates. As an aspiring poet, Tyreek performs slam-style poetry whenever an opportunity presents itself. One day, he noticed that his poetry evoked social consciousness in the hearts and minds of attentive audiences. Then, in 2016 Tyreek was called to the theatre arts where he “transformed” with a rising ensemble.
